We also provide free wireless access to the internet for those with laptops and handheld devices. Check if your libraries also provides printers with wireless access. Use of the library’s public computers and Wifi is free of charge, but there is a small fee for printing documents.

What Do I Need to Do To Use a Computer ?
- You may be asked to sign-in for a library computer at the front desk before use and to read the posted Internet Policy .
- Computer and Internet Use is open to the public; a library card is not required.
When Can I Use a Computer ?
- The computers are available to the public during the hours that the library is open.
- Computer use is on a first come, first served, basis.
- Time on the public computer is limited to one hour. If another patron is waiting, use is limited to 15-30 mins. If no one is waiting, time can be extended.
- Wireless access to the Internet through an individual’s personal device is available from inside or outside the library, within range.
Security Concerns
- Although the library’s computer use a security measures, this may not completely protect against the chance of downloading harmful malware.
- The library is not responsible for the loss of data, damage or liability that may occur from use of public computers or wireless systems.
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their private information is protected.
Use of the Internet
- The library does not monitor and has no control over the information accessed through the Internet.
- The Internet may contain inaccurate information or material of a controversial nature. The library cannot censor access to material, nor protect users from inaccurate or offensive information.
- Parents of children under the age of 16 are responsible for their child’s use of the computer and Internet.
- The public computers are located in areas which are shared by library users of all ages, backgrounds and sensibilities. Users are asked to be respectful when accessing potentially offensive information and images. The library reserves the right to ask individuals to discontinue the display of information and images which cause a disruption.
Can I Use My Own Software?
- No, users may not use their own software on library computers.
Is Someone Available to Help Me?
- The business of running the library is the priority of the library volunteers.
- Assistance with Internet searches, email, and printing will be offered as time permits.
- Our volunteers have different skill levels on computers; most are not able to problem-solve technology issues.
- The library may facilitate training sessions on computer or Internet use if possible.

Your library’s public computer network is not secure. Use of the library computers, or of privately-owned computers in the library, is solely at the risk of the user.
