Volunteering Information

The Southern Gulf Islands libraries are operated primarily by volunteers, guided and supported by one staff person, a Library Manager. The neighbours you meet at the library’s front desk are backed by many other Board members and volunteers who keep the library open and functioning smoothly. Our volunteers also enjoy the camaraderie of working with new people and helping patrons in an enriching library setting.

New volunteers are always needed and encouraged to apply, as there are so many ways to help.
