Art in the library – Galiano

Alex Percy – Galiano Artist

Alex Percy practices architecture and art in the region defined
as the Salish Sea, including Galiano Island. He draws and
paints much of the work with the fallen sticks from the trees
he’s depicting. The work aims to capture the individuality of
trees and animal forms on British Columbia’s west coast,
marrying them with our own personal experiences and
memories. He sells his work under the banner Sticks and Ink
Studios.
